Hi, and welcome to my website. "A writer writes," and I'm the author of LETTERS HOME, a play about Sylvia Plath and her mother that's been translated and produced all over the world, GANDHIJI, which won a place at the O'Neill Conference, a Robby Award and a mention in Burns Mantle's Best Plays of 1982-3, plus RITES OF PASSAGE, THE RABINOWITZ GAMBIT, and the musicals SOPHIE, PICON PIE, THE MERRY WAR, APPLES IN EDEN, and lots more.
For television I wrote movies like STONE PILLOW (starring Lucille Ball), FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE, LAND OF HOPE, BORN BEAUTIFUL, DEATH AT DINNER, MOTHER AND DAUGHTER THE LOVING WAR, and the one you might know best, THE BURNING BED, which won the WGA Award, an Emmy nomination, and lots more.
I hope you'll take a look at my blog, where I share some opinions and thoughts about writing...and lots more.
